What's The Problem?
Rikiskaup in Iceland has
identified a problem regarding the management of software in both the public,
and primary institution, and we have been tasked to propose a solution to this
problem.
In the document we got from Rikiskaup, they outlined 5
important questions to be provided by the end of this project, even though the
ultimate solution is a centralized entity with a software management platform
that sees the overview of Government's Licenses.
- Which public body is responsible for the platform?
- Where and how to host and share software licenses?
- Is it permitted to share purchased licenses among public entities?
- Which software is the government using the most?
- Can Digital Iceland's application module be used in the approval process?
